You know what else is funny? Savannah's absolute favorite thing to do is climb up into the driver's seat of either of our cars and pretend that she is driving. We've noticed that whenever either one of us is driving, that she watches intently from the back seat to see how everything works. The first time I start the car after she's been playing in it I'm always in for a surprise - the blinkers are on, the wipers are going full speed, the GPS that sits on the dash has been turned upside down. This girl knows how to work the stick shift and turn the wheels - she doesn't care if its 100 degrees in the garage...she wants to play in it!
The other day Brant caught her on video as she took a doll from the play area in the living room into her bedroom (where we change her diaper) and laid the doll down. She grabbed one of her diapers off the changing table and proceeded to change the dolls diaper with no help from us. So cute to have a little mommy in the house!
Her favorite words are shoe, bubble, baby, and blue. We love it when she says them and constantly catch ourselves saying "we need to write that down!" when she does things that we don't want to forget.
She had her first day in nursery the other week and did really well. It might have been because I was in there the whole time subbing for a friend, but I think she would have done well anyways (she didn't seem to even notice that I was there). She enjoyed sitting in her chair for singing time and a lesson - even came home with picture on a piece of yarn tied around her neck. After their little snack time, the other woman there commented how she was a little social 'party girl' since she was still holding her little cup of water and walking around checking out what the other little kids in nursery were up to.
We absolutely love having this little one around - and the cute things she does (as, I imagine, most other kids at this age do too!)
