Thanks to both etsy and consignment sales, Savannah had three costumes for Halloween before October was even here. A little Hawaiian girl (for the trunk-or-treat), a twin candy corn (for church the Sunday before Halloween), and Tinkerbell (to pass out candy to trick-or-treaters).
A few side notes of why we absolutely love this little girl as of late:
- She loves to pray. Whenever we sit down to eat, she folds her arms immediately. And whenver we give her seconds (or thirds...or fourths) she folds her arms again to have that food blessed. It's not uncommon that we have 4 or more dinner blessings in one sitting because she won't eat her food unless it has been blessed.
- When we put her down at night or for a nap, she blows a kiss to us. One night a few weeks ago, I had gotten up with her around 3am. I didn't bother blowing a kiss since I thought she was tired and just wanted to go back to sleep. As I turned and walked out of the door, I heard a sweet little kiss blown to me from her crib. At 3am.
- Speaking of kisses, she'll give a kiss to anyone on the cheek.
- Whenver the doorbell would ring from trick-or-treaters, she would run and hide.
Those costumes are all darling!
